Scheduling
Do I need a doctor's order?
Yes. Imaging exams require an order from your doctor. Send it by fax to (954) 967-1962, by email to rx@hdc1984.com, or bring it to your appointment.
How do I schedule an exam?
Call us at (954) 966-3600, Monday to Saturday. Have your doctor's order and insurance card ready.
I work during the day. Do you offer evening or Saturday appointments?
Yes. We are open Monday to Friday until 8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Insurance and billing
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid of Florida, Humana, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Florida Blue and many more. See our Insurances page or call us to verify.
I don't have insurance. Can I get a cash price?
Yes. Call us and we will give you our self-pay price for your exam.
Do you accept workers' compensation and accident (PIP) cases?
Yes. We work with several workers' compensation carriers and accept PIP cases.
Your exam
How should I prepare?
Each exam is different. See our Preparations page, and we will confirm your instructions when we call you.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes without metal buttons or zippers, with sleeves that are easy to roll up in case you need an IV.
I'm very claustrophobic. What if I can't do the exam?
Don't worry, it happens often. Our open upright MRI gives you much more space and lets you sit or stand.
Results
When will I get my results?
A board-certified radiologist reads your exam and your doctor usually receives the report within 24 to 48 hours. Your doctor will review the results with you.
Can I get a copy of my images?
Yes. We can give you a CD of your images. Call us or ask at the front desk.
